Ingredients
2 cups sushi rice
2 ½ cups water
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
4 nori sheets
1 cucumber (cut into thin strips)
1 avocado (sliced)
200g smoked salmon or cooked crab sticks
Soy sauce for serving
Pickled ginger and wasabi
Instructions
- 1- Wash sushi rice until water runs clear.
2- Cook rice with water and let it cool slightly.
3- Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt, then fold into rice.
4- Place nori sheet on sushi mat.
5- Spread rice evenly over nori.
6- Add cucumber, avocado, and salmon in the center.
7- Roll tightly using the bamboo mat.
8- Slice into bite-sized pieces and serve.
